Description : The perfect bars to keep in your purse for a quick bite or to give to kids during camping trips or hiking .

Preparation time : 10 minutes .

Serves 12 .

Ingredients :

  • Rolled oats – 2 cups
  • Peanut butter – 1 ¼ cups
  • Flaxseed – 1 cup
  • Honey – ¾ cup
  • Dried cranberries – ¾ cup
  • Chocolate chips – ½ cup
  • Sliced almonds – ¼ cup

 

Directions :

  1. Mix the rolled oats, peanut butter, flaxseed, honey, dried cranberries,
  2. chocolate chips and the sliced almonds .
  3. Press into a pan and refrigerate for a while before cutting into bars
  4. and serving .
