Description : These granola bars are quite different as in this recipe marshmallows are used . The addition of flaked coconuts gives them a better taste .

Ingredients :

  • Semi – sweet chocolate chips – 1 cup
  • Butter – 1 / 3 cup
  • Large marshmallows – 16
  • Creamy peanut butter – 1 / 3 cup
  • Vanilla extract – ½ teaspoon
  • Flaked coconut – 1 cup
  • Rolled oats – 2 cups

Directions :

  1. Set a double boiler on a stove and melt the chocolate chips, butter and the marshmallows .
  2. Mix until smooth and remove from heat .
  3. Now add the peanut butter, vanilla extract, flaked coconut and the rolled oats and mix everything properly .
  4. Press the mixture into a greased baking tray and refrigerate for about
  5. 30 minuts or until they are set .
