No Bake Flaked Coconut Granola Bars.
Description : These granola bars are quite different as in this recipe marshmallows are used . The addition of flaked coconuts gives them a better taste .
Preparation time : 50 minutes
- Semi – sweet chocolate chips – 1 cup
- Butter – 1 / 3 cup
- Large marshmallows – 16
- Creamy peanut butter – 1 / 3 cup
- Vanilla extract – ½ teaspoon
- Flaked coconut – 1 cup
- Rolled oats – 2 cups
- Set a double boiler on a stove and melt the chocolate chips, butter and the marshmallows .
- Mix until smooth and remove from heat .
- Now add the peanut butter, vanilla extract, flaked coconut and the rolled oats and mix everything properly .
- Press the mixture into a greased baking tray and refrigerate for about
- 30 minuts or until they are set .
- Serve !
